Interesting series and surprising to know that salmon are given antibiotics and steroids. And I was concerned about mercury in the fish. A recent news story told of antibiotics (not to mention other chemicals) have been found in our drinking water. Good thing I don't eat fish, but I do drink water.

The shots are given to them to help them get over the shock of being lifted from the water and driven 11 miles up the river. I don't think that they're trying to create a race of super fish or anything but I appreciate your concern.
